The Doctor attempted to skid to a halt as the white image he was chasing vanished and a cliffside appeared. He slid to his knees but found his body continuing forward. His feet lost the grip on the ground and he only just managed to grab onto a rock.
Below him was a sheer rocky cliff that went down to the crystal blue waters of Orion.
