Jack dived into the food as though it would disappear if he didn't eat it immediately. There were a few factors that lead to his eating style, of course. Mainly an archaic military sort of programming, to eat quickly and be ready. But largely, on this occasion, it was just that he hadn't eaten a full meal in 14 months.
He was more than a little peckish.
"You like it?" he asked around a mouthful of pizza before washing it down with a mouthful of coke from his can.
He doubted, to himself, that he'd manage much more than a slice or two. His body might have been reset, but then that didn't mean he would be used to eating much.
