Jack tried to think if he knew the Doctor in the 70s, but he couldn't see anything. He drew a blank. Waiting, that's all he saw. It didn't really make sense. He supposed it would eventually.
"Not so bad with the hair now," he said, glancing his eyes up to the top of the Doctor's head and shooting him another grin.
He held tight as the TARDIS moved, and though he wasn't familiar with it, it seemed his body was. Muscle memory that knew exactly how to hold on and keep himself stable.
"Depends how you count it," Jack told him. "Years alive? I'm 177. I was trapped on Earth when I was 35, been there ever since. That's not counting the fact I've been buried underground for 2000 years, so you know... I've been around."
