OOC: La Cage aux Folles

Please everyone excuse me this gigantic moment of squee.

I went to see La Cage aux Folles tonight with John Barrowman in one of the lead roles as Albin/Zaza. I had a seat on on of the cabaret tables at the front that are literally next to the stage, and my seat was right in the middle by the stairs that come down from the centre of the stage.

During the song 'The Best of Times' Zaza (John) comes and sits on the steps to sing. He sat down and looked at me (I was literally right next to him) and then he reached out his hand for mine. He was then stroking my hand and singing the song TO ME, looking right into my eyes. Then he lifted my hand and kissed the back of it leaving a huge lipstick stain which he smudged away with his thumb before touching the colour against my cheeks and stroking his hand across them before getting up and going back up to the main stage.

I was grinning like a huge idiot, and I still am now.

The show was a fabulous production and the cast were just brilliant, and *flails* JB sung to me and kissed my haaaaand. *dies*
