Reinette was not surprised to hear Jack's note of recognition. Firstly, Giac had obviously been echoed by several at the party that surrounded them. But then too was the undeniable presence the actual man held. Of course he would be remembered.

Her smile was wide, with something sly about it.

"I do know him, yes. I count him as a dear friend and like to think that he counts me one as well. We share a great many interests."

That smile grew, tilted towards Jack.

"I should introduce you sometime."
