Jack made no response to Reinette's comment. He was well aware she was here, well aware if not for her he'd still be rotting away in that hole under the ground. Well aware that she was the one who'd cleaned his body and helped him through.

He was well aware.

And so he watched her, thoughtful. And then seemingly from nowhere he made a decision, and he said quietly.

"I have to go. I can't stay here." And only the briefest of pauses. "Come with me."
