"Oh I'm sure it isn't," Jack grinned. He didn't judge her though, he was impressed. Making people talk could be an acquired skill. And he had the feeling she knew all about acquired skills.

He watched the people in the room, took note of them and absorbed the information, but he didn't make to approach any of them. He wasn't interested. Why would he be when he had such an intriguing woman beside him?

"So tell me something about yourself," he said, gently prodding away at her from different angles, wondering what he might learn.
