"Oh you'd be surprised just how long I can keep quiet," Jack said, giving her a sidelong glance and a half smile as he stood in front of the mirror.

He turned his head back to it, and watched her through the reflection instead of staring right at her. As though that way it would afford her some sort of privacy. A silent respect for the knowledge she was imparting. He could tell it was personal. But then experience with the Doctor always was.

At the same time, he absorbed her words. He listened and analysed them; what they must have meant. Through a fireplace, through a mirror. Time windows. Leading to one central location, he theorised. But why? And where? 51st Century somewhere, maybe, considering the robots. But that barely told him a thing.

"Most people would find the Doctor pretty unbelievable," he said into the mirror, before turning his had to look at her again.

"But some people know better."
